ContainerDahlias.com specializes in low growing, border and container suited dahlias. During the past few years I have been intrigued with the many outstanding dahlias now available for use in mixed borders and as the focal point of container gardens. The container garden is a field of floriculture that is expanding rapidly. Just make a trip to your local garden center and see the variety of containers that are available. With a container garden we are not limited by garden location, we can usually move our container to several locations on our property as we wish. As a matter of fact the container garden is the one way apartment dwellers can enjoy a living, growing garden. In container gardens we can combine different textures, colors, forms and height. When complete we have created our own exciting garden.

In addition, the low growing dahlia suits the garden border. Here we can combine all sorts of interesting combinations and the bright color of our dahlias enhances the interest of our border. The dahlia creates a focal point for our border and lends itself to pleasant repetition with other plant material.

•	Low growing up to 24" so as not to require staking.
•	Continuous blooming with little interruption in blooming pattern (be sure to remove spent blooms to ensure more blooms)
•	Bright clear colors and pleasing foliage.

Having said this I became aware early in my low growing search that these dahlias were not readily available. With research and 3 years of testing we are now able to offer a wonderful series of "Gallery" dahlias.

A word about these dahlias... The "Gallery" series of dahlias are the result of 15 years of crossings between common border-dahlias and botanical, genetically low growing dahlias. They are much branching, start blooming in early summer and produce an abundance of flowers during months and months. These varieties with fully double flowers are very effective in the front of borders. They are also well adapted for container growing.

When danger of damage by frost is gone you can plant them in your garden or in containers in the patio, on your deck, balcony or doorsteps These 4 varieties of "Gallery" dahlias we offer are plug cuttings from tissue culture and are free of any virus. They are shipped in special packaging and are ready for potting up.

Finally, we are field-testing other low growing dahlias for future offering. These will include "dark" foliage low growing dahlias and other fully double dahlias. Shortly we will be offering a complete container garden including a focus dahlia. All the mystery is removed and just follow the simple plan and you will have a breathtaking container garden to enjoy.
